We had a very successful banquet with 61 members and guests attending. Steve Herbeck gave a very informative talk titled “Living on the Edge.”. I’m sure everyone will benefit from the concepts Steve discussed. Thanks to Jeff Kinnally, Jim Cheshire, Tim Sanderson, Landy Roepke and Jackie Waldorf for volunteering. These events can’t happen without the hard work of our dedicated members.
We will have a booth at the Wisconsin Musky Expo at at the Central Wisconsin Convention & Expo Center in Rothschild March 20, 21, 22. If you are planning to attend, why not sign up to help out in the booth for one or two hours? We will be promoting our Muskie Tournament to be held September 12 and 13th. April 7th is the next general meeting. Gus Mantey is our guest speaker. We will meet at Norwood Pines in Minocqua. Doors open at 6 pm, speaker at 7. The restaurant will be open if you want to order something from the menu.
April 11th will be the second annual Northwoods Muskies Inc. Lure Swap.Hours for the event are 10:00 am until 3:00 pm at the Saint Germain Community Center. We will have a seminar featuring guide DJ Chupita. Contact Pete Stoltman – 715-614-4142 or Jeff Kinnally -715-271-2236 if you want to reserve a vendor table or need more information. Any fishing related items are welcomed. Volunteers will be needed Friday evening to help set-up and make this a smooth running and successful event.
April 18th is the Headwaters Muskies Inc.annual banquet. They are always very supportive of our events. Please reciprocate and consider attending their banquet .
