The Battle on St Germain Lakes Ice Fishing Tournament was a success. Thank you to Jim Lund as chairman for this event, Jolene Fink for managing the concession and all of the other volunteers that helped set up, take down, clean up and pitched in wherever help was needed. What a wonderful group of people to be involved in Northwoods Muskies Inc. Thank you doesn’t seem to say enough.
Moving forward our next meeting will be February 3rd, 6pm at Sayner Pub. We will be reviewing upcoming events. Please bring your thoughts and suggestions to continue making our chapter better.
February 28th is our Kids Ice Fishing outing. I have attached a copy of the flyer Jeff Kinnally made. This event is to teach kids about ice fishing. Learning the basics, rules and regulations,and fish identification. Free to attend. Food, Bait and limited equipment is provided. Last year we had more kids than adults. Please consider taking a couple hours out of your day to help spread the love of fishing to our youth. Hours are noon until 3pm. Please contact Jeff Kinnally at 715-271-2236 or jwkinnally@gmail.com.
Our annual awards banquet will be at Whitetail Inn on March 7th. Registration letters will be going out this week. Again anyone able to help please contact either Pete or Karen Stoltman. pjsdrum@gmail.com or karenstoltman@gmail.com.
We will also have the Lure Swap again this year. April 11th at the St. Germain Community Center. If you would like to reserve a table or volunteer to help contact Pete Stoltman or Jeff Kinnally.
