OUTINGS AND TOURNAMENTS

Northwoods Muskies membership hosts and participates in chapter outings and tournaments each season. The Northwoods Chapter will be participating in the Gil Hamm Tournament, the Musky Alliance Tournament, and other chapter tournaments later in the year. Many of the proceeds raised at these events are invested into chapter initiatives and fisheries programs.

Join Northwoods Muskies Inc. for our annual Kids Fishing Day on Lake Minocqua on Saturday, February 28, 2026.

Kids of all ages are invited to learn the basics of ice fishing and try their luck out on Lake Minocqua.

Northwoods Muskies Inc members will have equipment and bait ready to be used by any youngsters interested in learning more about ice fishing.

We will be fishing in Schoolhouse Bay located near the Public Library in Downtown Minocqua from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Our goals as a chapter are to provide a fun, family-oriented event setting to allow all of us to make new friends, have lots of laughs and give everyone the chance to win a few cool prizes. A bigger goal though is to further the mission of Muskies Inc., by involving more young anglers, promoting conservation and getting more fish in the lakes and rivers we all love. Your participation in our events is vital to our mission and we offer our deepest thanks.
